We are looking for a lawyer with a focus on real estate law, tenancy law and generational change in agriculture and farms with a strong interest in the real estate industry. In our team, you will support our brokers and clients in important life and ownership issues.
About the service
As a lawyer with us, you will work extensively with advice and agreements related to the transfer and succession of farms and agricultural properties. You will be an important support to both our brokers and clients during changes of ownership and will handle issues such as the preparation and review of gift and purchase agreements, co-ownership agreements and leases, inheritance and family law issues, property formation issues, tax planning and optimization of transfer models, etc. The work is varied and involves close collaboration with brokers, clients and other stakeholders. You will play an important key role for our clients and colleagues. With a combined cutting-edge expertise, we help both sellers and buyers in a way that traditional brokerage firms are unable to.
About you
We are looking for someone who is a qualified lawyer with experience in generational changes, tax law and agricultural tenancy law. You have a few years of experience in property law or family law.
To succeed in the role, it is important that you are educational and can explain complex legal matters in an understandable way and are good at expressing yourself well both verbally and in writing. You are responsive, trustworthy and confident in meetings with clients, even in sensitive situations. You are non-pretentious and have a solution-oriented approach and enjoy collaborating with different professions and with varying tasks.
We consider a driving license and access to your own car to be a given, as visits to farms are part of the work.
A rural background is an asset, as is previous work experience in corporate law.
