Lorensdal – Vellinge

Maria and Malin Ralman bought Lorensdal fifteen years ago. At the time, it was a stud farm that had become quite run-down over the years. In 2008 – 2009, extensive renovation and reconstruction was therefore carried out. Lorensdal has developed into a popular restaurant, party venue, theater and a business building with the aim of promoting creative arts in a broad sense. Due to restructuring in the Ralman family's property portfolio, Lorensdal was put up for sale in January through Skånegårdar in Lund. It is now clear that the new owners are the doctor and entrepreneur family Anna and Eskil Hammarström, who are buying the farm through the company Mitt Hjärta.

"A lot has happened over the years and it has been an exciting and fun project to transform the horse farm into what it is today. It feels good to be able to hand over to someone else who can continue to develop Lorensdal and we now feel that we have found the right buyer," says Maria Ralman.

The buyers are Anna and Eskil Hammarström, who moved to Skåne from Hälsingland almost seven years ago. They previously ran private healthcare for many years under the company name Mitt Hjärta.

The Hammarström family came to Skåne not least because of the horses and the competition in show jumping, where the journeys from Hälsingland were too long. At the end of last year, they sold their last health center up north and then started looking around for a new location in Skåne.

“It felt like it was meant to be when we found the fantastic Lorensdal, which is also located in Eskilstorp,” says Eskil.”

"We are happy and grateful to have the opportunity to take over this wonderful company farm that Malin and Maria built with a big heart and a lot of love. We want to continue to manage Lorensdal with respect for its history and unique qualities. Eventually we may also be able to contribute with health-oriented activities, but that remains to be seen."

Anna and Eskil Hammarström are currently in the process of starting a private cardiology practice in Höllviken. Eventually, the doctor couple hopes to be able to locate the practice in Lorensdal.

The deal was handled by real estate agents Ann Knutsson and Emelie Jung at Skånegårdar in Lund and the entire sales process took just under two months.
